The world's most boring update.

Hello out there....how is everyone?
I know I know, I haven't been maintaining this blog as much as i would like to. But I'm in a locale with no email..so I'll rn to the internet cafe once in a while to let you all know I'm still alive.
Internet cafe. Wrong term. The sweaty dark room with uncomfortable short chairs and old computers that chargers me too much an hour to sit here and be uncomfortable. Boo.
But for you, anyone reading about this, I will suffer the discomfort.
Yesterday I had an interview for a job i would really like. I think it ent well, but how can one ever tell. Hopefully I will hear something in the next week or so. I bascially told them I am going back to Toronto in a couple of weeks to Move or to live..but no more back and forth for anything other than vacations. So there is a chance I will have to re-evaluate my career. So scary. 6 years of hard work seem to mean nothing right now and that is just depressing.
Vancouver is relaxing though and being around Dad allows me to sit back and not worry. He takes good care of me.
No word from the dude. I guess I expected that. But the reality is always more depressing the the build-up....at least when it comes to intense disappointment. I know I know, it just wasn't meant to be. I get that. But it sucks.
What else can I report? I'm boring.
Boooorrrrriiinnnngggggggggg.
I watched the Brown Bunny this morning. I have to say...the entire movie..boring. and then the last 10 minutes..Chloe S. gives some full on head. You see penis and everything. I was like.....WTF??? I had NO idea it was that graphic. If you show penis, doesn't that mean it qualifies as porn. It was not hot. Here ie what I was wondering though....doesn't it feel weird to get a hard on in front of a crew? And wasn't it weird for her to be blowing her ex in front of all these people? I just don't get it and sure couldn't do it. I can totally surprised. Anyone see it? Opinions?
I want this job I need everyone to think happy employment thoughts.
There is a cupcake shop here and I can't stop eating cupcakes. I have a problem I admit it. I'm gonna just get FAT!
Woohoo.

Mmmmm... cupcakes. I dig cupcakes. Little mini cakes with cake-sauce (icing).

I'll pray to my gods about new job for you. (Can you pray to your gods that I get a Toronto Arts Council grant? No chance in hell, but figure it's worth asking...)
;)

i'm meant to be running a marathon in penticton next year so tell me, canadian person, is penticton nice? like, is it senic and reasonably warm in mid-may? are the people friendly towards scots?

nothing to do with blogging, i know. just thought you may know the answers :-)

oh, hope you get the post if it's what you want. and don't worry too much about men's dangly bits. they're overrated. as an owner i can confirm this :-)

Dear Ro,

BC is very nice, though I can't speak for Penticton (perhaps this will help... minus the rather frightening suggestion of "Staying there forver" http://www.penticton.ca/main.asp).

As for Scottish folks... well, there is a nary a Canadian who doesn't happily receive someone with a nice Scots accent. So as long as you're a generally nice fellow with reasonably good hygiene, you should be rather well-received.

Sincerely,

Just another Canadian

yabbut i don't want the tourist version - though thankies for the link - i was after the local opinion. yunno, 'nice place but i wouldn't want to run in a race there' sorta thing.

however, 'twas kind of you. thanks.

and what's with the hygiene comment? i'll have you know i shower thrice daily AND i clean all those important little places that should see soap and water at least once a day. bloody cheek! :-)

sadly, i'm a far from nice fellow. however, i'll try and keep that under wraps :-)

r.x.

Ah, well, you'll be on your own then. (But at least you'll have your soap to keep you company. We have several nice varieties.)

Of course, buying a round of pints at a local bar generally engenders some kind of camaraderie.

(And if something particularly scathing flies out your mouth, be sure to exaggerate the accent a bit. Perhaps no one will notice.)

varieties? of soap? oh, joy!

canada may become my version of utopia. forget the marathon, i'll spend a couple of weeks in the shower with canadian soap. probably beats sex anyday.

sadly, i have neither a scottish accent nor an affinity for alcohol. appears i'm doomed, no?

otoh, i'm good with kids and i can sing almost every word from the killers 'hot fuss' cd. will that do ya?

are all canadians like you?

ro.

Hey - Ro.

I'm a transplanted scot who lives in Montréal. Best thing I ever do. Can't claim to know anything about Penticton though. Other than some disturbing pig farmer news. It's over *points west* there.

Hi Tali. You know I have my fingers crossed for you!!!

My hoose
